There’s nothing quite like the hard-earned feeling of standing proud on a peak. Whether that peak belongs to a five-thousander, a three-thousander, or a substantially-under-one-thousander — it doesn’t matter. The view from a summit is always a worthy reward after scrambling all that way uphill. Not all peaks are the same though — some might require special gear and a whole lot of training, while others might be a literal walk in the park. That’s why we’ve collected all of the top peaks as recommended by the komoot community for you here. Coming packed with useful info, including representative photos (you won’t find any airbrushing here!) and helpful tips, they don’t just showcase the best summits — they give you all the info you need to more easily add them to your next trip.

Every summit in our list is a genuine recommendation from other users on komoot. Organized via popularity, each peak Highlight has been created for the community, by the community, so you can find the best peaks to climb — as recommended by those who went before you. Know of an awesome summit that should be in this list but isn’t? Create your own Highlights on komoot to share your favorite places with the world.
